Its not about having the right shoes, its about having 'dirty' shoes, or whatever because this says they are authentic progressive. Note, by progressive I really mean regressive. I used to get along with the locals until I was outed as a REPUBLICAN (OMG!!!) the locals aren't so friendly anymore even though I put on dirty cloths from goodwill to fit in when I go to the dinner for breakfast before skiing.
I tried to rate another post by this guy positively, but the stupid site rules won't let me.
This is funny because its true.
You've never seen group think until you've seen the progressive, City Market zombie hordes in Burlington.

The keen sandals that were apparently hippy in cracked me up. Dirty paint splattered jeans- check, rusty decrepit Subaru- check, dirty Co-op T-shirt-check, $130 pair of shiny new sandals-check. And they claim they don't follow fashion yeah right.

I prefer Tevas because they can get wet... and I refuse to own Crocs regardless of the comfort.

I agree. Blech. Plus they don't make any Birks narrow enough for my feet.

I prefer squashing heals with a nice, solid pair of normal heeled Red Wings.

High heels are for dressing up and going out. Who needs them in the grocery, post office, OBGYN? (Well, if I get a discount for wearing kinky heels....maybe)

I can't wear sandals but do own a pair of Keen slip on mules which are very comfortable and great slipping on and off at the door. And no, they aren't a hippy, preppy, yuppy statement. I got them deeply discounted because of the color and they were past season.
