I have about 150 hours in the game in three different characters and have never even started the main quest. Except for the dragon in the very beginning when you are about to be executed, I have never seen a dragon in the game. I have also never cast a spell except once when I grudgingly had to cast soultrap to remove my vampirism.
Maybe you have to at least finish the first quest in the main story where you get your first Dragon Shout before they showing up on a regular basis.

I'll have to check if it will run on my PC, the mods are pretty awesome.

That is good to know. I am considering updating my video card (has standard oboard video) on my 2 year old desktop and running Skyrim on pc just for the chance to mess with mods.

After I bought this desktop computer I upgraded it when I wanted to start playing newer games. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti was my choice and it can easily play Skyrim with no lag. After I get over my cold I can tell you what my graphic settings are at.
The DLC is finally here! I guess it is time to crank up another round lol. Thanks for the insight Quert, will take a look at that.
Did you PS3 guys finally get Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn today?
My advice, dont go to Solsteim unless you are above lvl 35-45. The difficulty was definitely cranked up a few notches so if you try to go while you are in your teens you'll get seriously owned.

I'm going to get it today because it is half off, supposedly. I plan on getting all of them. My connection at home is horrible so who knows how long it will take to download.

This is good to hear. I have a level 60 Battlemage (100 in Destruction, Conjuration, One Handed, Smithing, Enchanting, Block and Alchemy) and the game has become ridiculously easy. A more challenging spot would be welcome now.
I got it and started over from scratch. I just can't commit to playing as a mage, I am focusing on a mix of archery and magic. I'm going to try relying on magic more than ever before this time, but just feel weird about giving up all my weapons!

I forced myself to until I got Destruction, Conjuration and Enchanting maxed. It was kind of tough - you really need to keep up with Destruction training each level and buying spells as they become available. Plus enchanting to decrease the magicka cost of Destruction spells. Takes gold!
I took all of my toons to Solsteim to complete Dragonborn and my pure mage character had the toughest time of all.
Im currently experimenting with a couple of Battlemage/Spellsword builds that I will soon take to Solsteim to see how they fare.
Also, for you guys who get to level 80, there will be challenger that appears to you who will be nothing like you have EVER faced in the game before.
