As far as apartments, the only one I can think of is Christopher Court. Now I have no idea what it' s like in there now, I speaking for the early 90's. Other than that, outside of renting a TH from a private owner (becareful of the development though) I have no idea. I'm really not up on it when it comes to rentals in the village. First off there aren't that many to begin with, and the ones I drive by daily look some what questionable. I will check first with the local precints and get the scoop on any building that you decide on. GL ...

Hi mamaecho - in your earlier post you mentioned that you live in McKendrie area. Can you tell me who the HOA and/or management company is for this community - Forest View Place specifically?

It may be Northgate, I live in McKendrie 1.So McKendrie 2 may be different..

Some things that you will have to worry about(or at least, what we worry about here) : loud people, we've had to call the police multiple times for people screaming at the top of their lungs at all hours of the night, cars going entirely too fast/blasting music, random people wandering around at all times of day and night, people sitting around at night (they get chairs out of the trash and sit inbetween the townhomes and drink), kids wandering around (had 7 or 8 year old girls come to my gate at 9pm begging to pet our dog), trash, etc. BUT on the bright side, the townhomes are nice and big!

Needless to say, we are buying a house and moving away lol
