In DC: the Marine Barracks and Navy Yard
In Arlington: in Pentagon City try the bars and restaurants in Pentagon Row. Also a hefty uniformed presence in Crystal City (Crystal Drive and 23rd St) and Rosslyn.
If you're willing to travel, the largest installations in the area are Ft Belvoir, Quantico, and Ft George Meade. Happy hunting...
Volunteer somewhere where they are or are near. Perhaps, U st. , Adams Morgan, Arlington/Alexandria areas, 8th street S.E, Waterfront, Navy Yard, Bolling AFB, Andrews AFB area, and so forth.
I'm looking myself dear, but ONLY because my ex did not approve of me joining. So...oh well, more of me for whomever the gentlemen is doesn't matter the branch (we're ALL fighting for the same country/flag). Besides, I LUV an gent, with or without his uniform. But, who am I fooling better with right, ladies?!.
