I do miss thunder. I think I heard it once. And you don't generally get torrential downpours. As west seattle gal said, it's going to be warm today. I'm in Bellingham on the east side of Lake Whatcom so it does feel pretty warm for a few hours, then the temperature drops quickly at night. We do have air conditioning but only use it if needed in the late afternoon for about 2 hours. We could use some rain. Maybe next week?

Lol speaking of thunder. We had a rare storm with some thunder and on the local facebook group there were plenty of people saying "What was that boom? Was there an explosion?"

What's the point of you comment? Are you just trolling? Or are you hoping that you would get a bunch of posts that said something like "Yes, I hate living in Washington! Oh, mighty TAZORAC, please tell me where to live!!!"?
That was my take on it. I started to take it seriously, then realized it was just a troll attempt, and a second-rate one at that.

I have absolutely nothing against NM...to each his own. But after working and vacationing in 38 states and around 80 countries in the world...I always welcome the day I return to the the PNW and now my home on the Peninsula. I have found only a couple places in the world that I would even consider living. One is Costa Rica (East Coast) and the other is Santiago, Chile.

I normally can work around it, today I drove to work in Seattle, left home at 5am, returned at 1:30. Most of the time I take the bus and the express lanes always move well.

I agree, over 20 years here and we still haven't seen all this state has to offer.

Are you aware that the post you responded to was about the Olympic Peninsula, not Seattle?

Sounds like tourists who only visit during the summer. The other 9 months of the year it's anything but beautiful.
