We received almost a 1/4 inch.

I just walked out side 5 minutes age.
I went to the edge of our deck in my wife’s slippers.

We have no “safety” rails on our deck because that would block our view.

Those slippers nearly sent me off a 4 foot drop.
My feet were off the edge
I slid like I was on ice.

I actually twisted my back and that didn’t fell good.

Our friends just a bit northwest of us received much more snow in the Carlsburg area.

My kiddo works there and we have 4 other people that are long time friends up there and 2 more up on the hill.

Their snow pics are amazing!

So how did you do?

We did ok on the snow thing.

I kinda want more of it for possibly a white Christmas.

How are you fairing?

All the best.

Could you share some photos?

I did a quick search online for Seattle city photos after the snow, and didn't find anything that was of the current snowfall.

I don't know why I'm so excited or curious; I've lived in Seattle through many snowfalls. Still, even a light snowfall transforms a city, with its white cloak.

Here in Sammamish at 600' we got about 2" between 6-8pm. Apparently it turned to rain later, and most has melted, though the roofs are still white. It stuck on the roads by 7:30 but they are clear and wet this morning.

6” in Bellingham but the sun is starting to melt it causing the snow to drop from the trees. It is beautiful here.

It started snowing enough to cover lawns and streets early in the afternoon in northern Whatcom County, and the rain turned to snow by about 3pm here in Bellingham. We got about 3" in the middle of town (elevation ~75'- there was more in the surrounding hills), and the roads were covered last night. It was heavy and wet, fun to look at, and enough that people were playing in it and even building snowmen in our neighborhood.

Right now it's 35, sunny, and still covering the roof and grass. The young Sequoia in our front yard looks quite Christmasy!

Most of my reply vanished.
Here is the rest.

I just came back from PA before sunset.
There was still a lot of snow on the side of 101 just past Sequim.
The Honda dealership had snow on some cars.

Hurricane Ridge has a decent bit but yet was not smothered in it.

One car must have just come down from the hill because he had a good 8 or so inches on his ride.

I know it sounds rather simple but I just smile when I see snow.

All the best.
