Our new pup doesn’t like the heat.
He will hide in the shade.
He digs the cooler weather and isn’t afraid of swimming.
The chihuahua not so much but he loves sun bathing on the lawn.
The new pup came from a breeder on a farm in Elma and hates eagles.
He growls and barks every time he sees them.
The chihuahua came from San Francisco and hasn’t yet noticed eagles .

My wife joked that the new dog’s mommy must have warned him about eagles and the chihuahua’s mommy didn’t teach him that lesson .

We think/hope that the new pup will grow to protect the little clueless one.

Today was sunny most of the day after morning low clouds burned off. Temps were mild in the low 70s. So, it was about as good as it gets for a summer day.

It's a lovely Juneuary morning of 52 degrees, fog down to the treetops, heavy clouds and light rain. Good news- weather forecast says it will warm up and this time of the year the clouds aren't so bad since you know they'll end.

We have been getting drizzled and rained on this last couple of days.
It is staying light out much later.
This pic was at 10:00pm last night.

It cleared out here, too (north of Everett) now. It's a pleasant day after a rainy morning.

Oh wow! That's a beautiful picture. Are those lupine or another wildflower type in the foreground?

Either lupines or Camas?.... The area is known locally as Camas Prairie.
