Summer morning temperatures in the high country here are in the high 40's to low 50's too. It's actually kind of chilly to go biking early (especially on the downhills!). I love it.

Default Adjusting

It would take me a while to adjust to that cooler mornings, in the summer but I really think I could.

Here in southern cal anywhere within 15 miles or so of the pacific coast has been pretty comfy all summer. I've turned on the AC just a couple of times all summer. Today was a high of mid 80s, low in mid 60s. Windows are wide open this evening with cool ocean breeze blowing in.
Drive inland 30 or 40 miles, away from the ocean breeze, and it's a whole different story. Add 20 degrees or more to the thermometer!

been over 100 for almost two weeks. Heat indexes have ranged from 101 to 112 during this time.

Finding low humidity values the past couple of days therefore the heat indexes have decreased to 101-104 range, a bit of relief, but, our temps have climbed and today is forecast to be 102, tommorrow 104, etc...dog days of summer are killing me..sigh

We're having typical Phoenix summer weather right now: hot, sunny, and temps hovering around 110. It's not even a dry heat (as they say). Dew points have been in the low 60s, and any dew point over 55 degrees here is considered uncomfortable.

The last few days of July and first week of August were surprisingly pleasant for Phoenix standards. We had lots of cloudy days, thunderstorms in the area, and high temps in the 90s. Believe me, if you've lived here for as long as I have, it's a relief to have clouds, rain, and higher humidity. Sure beats constant sun & heat!

This summer in New England has been warmer then average- but we have had periods of relief. Inland Connecticut has on average 18 days a summer with 90 degree or higher temperatures. Thus far we have had 15-16.

Yesterday was 80 and beautiful, today 87 and nice with no oppressive humidity- the rest of the week looks nice- with the warmest days Monday and Wednesday at 88- with a cooling trend to 80 by weeks end.

People in the middle of the country and south are really suffering- we have not had that kind of extreme heat here-
