Huh. I didn't realize the declination was still that far south. 7.8° to go in three weeks, changes fast this time of year.

DST in North America (excluding HI, most of AZ, and SK) will start Sunday.

getting eariler. astro dusk ended at 07:38 pm this evening.

Thursday night (5th March) will be the first permanent astronomical twilight in Longyearbyen. Svalbard. 78.2N.

The March sun times for Longyearbyen look insane. Their 1st March day is a bit like our 21st December day, but then by 31st March their civil twilight lasts longer than ours does in the middle of summer!

As for here, we're still coming along nicely:

Sunrise: 06:53
Sunset: 17:49

10 hours, 56 minutes

Still gaining half an hour of daylight every week, 17 minutes in the morning and 13 minutes in the evening. The first 11-hour day is tomorrow, first 6 pm sunset next Monday.

Over 11 hours of daylight already. Taking civil twilight in account, its even more than 12 hours.
Sunsets at the last day of the month will be about 8 PM here, we will switch the clocks on the last Sunday of March.
