Sunset at 7:36pm in Boston is only 3 hours and 45 minutes after me, St Johns at 8:00 is 2 hours and 40 minutes after me!

Civilised North America has terrible sunsets!

Interior alaska is the place in the US if you want late sunset year round (relatively speaking - alaska west of juneau has late solar noons) and plenty of snow. Or UP Michigan (the bigger eastern time part) if you want lower 48

Solar times

And you've got, what, another hour and a half to go on the sunset time?

I can hardly notice the gain in daylight anymore, the rate of increase is just too slow.

Yea by June it will be bright to 11 properly. Its still not late enough for me.

Late enough is when I can leave the house at 9:30 and walk for a few miles and be back in daylight. and we are still agess from that.
