But SE is closer to the timezone meridian than NI, so SE is closer to solar time

Now would be an excellent time to change from Standard time to DST, since we'd be having sunup before six, and the change wouldn't be so jarring like it was back in March.

GR I thought you would want to see this: Egypt: No DST in 2015 After All

I think eventually the UK will get rid of DST but only in a few years when other EU countries drop it. I am glad the trend is to get rid of it. Stupid.
