Forgot to mention : tonight = last night with a sunset in Longyearbyen Svalbard, and no sunset till almost meteorological fall starting Saturday night.
It really really doesn't look like 5pm. Yesterday I drove out at 6pm and the sun was really high in the sky like mid afternoon instead of evening. Its crazy, you really notice the dst here.
Really enjoying these long nights, just back from a walk and it is still bright. It will be bright for almost another 2 hours and its 7:30! This is great.
Sun just gone down but its still day really. Where I live its literally day as in you need no lights and can see for miles for 30 minutes after sunset.
