Civil twilight end: 21:16

Longyearbyen on April 7th:
Sunrise: 04:18
Sunset: 21:48
Civil twilight rest of night

If I were to visit Longyearbyen, April would be perfect: Still cold enough to go by snowmobile everywhere, and 24-hr daylight.

North America will probably end DST in some form within the next few years. Unfortunately I can't see us in the UK ending it due to our unique daylight patterns and variations. Also, the EU won't end it so we are tied to them sadly. Wish we weren't though, I don't particularly care if we are out of sync with Mainland Europe to be honest.

5:53 to 17:54 for 8.4.2017. Sun declination is reaching 7 degrees and equation of time only -1 (solar noon 1 min later than annual average!) Astro twilight (dusk) ends in 19:03 or 04 which is almost half an hour (28 mins to be exact) earlier than 10 weeks ago! We're theoretically "autumn" (southern hemisphere : 6.36 degrees S) but still has FL/southeast US like summer temps/humidity
