I love rainy days. Except when it's summer. Adds to the humidity and makes the heat unbearable. Plus having the yard to dry and cut it. During the other seasons, it can rain as much as it wants. Especially in the fall and winter. Listening to the rain on the metal roof, sitting on the porch drinking coffee....

When I worked in the fish hatchery industry in Oregon, I loved to see it rain enough to bring the rivers up. When that happened, the summer Steelhead would start showing up. These fish were a blast to catch, 7 to 15 lbs of muscle and p***ed off. OTOH, if it kept raining, the river would go into flood stage and hatchery staff would go into 24 hour screen maintenance mode which wasn't much fun.

When I lived in Minnesota I was unhappy whenever anything fell from the sky. Now I live in Nevada and a rainy day is a welcome change.

We wouldn't have moved here if we didn't like rain. We get 53" annually, about 15" more than nearby Seattle. The rain not only provides an abundant supply of water, but keeps things green even well into summer. This entire year (2019) I probably only watered my lawns 2-3 times, and they stayed nice and green.

My wife and I lived in Nehalem, Oregon for 3 years. The hatchery I worked at was an official reporting station. Average rainfall was 128 inches a year. The 3 years we live there rainfall was 146 inches, 153 inches and 165 inches. We were happy to get out of there!

I would love that kind of rain.

We get 90+ inches at my locale in SE Alaska. In Hawaii, about 150. So yes, I like rain. It provides for a very lush landscape.

BTW, Alaska has far more minutes of the day, on average, with overcast and precipitation, despite lower annual rainfall.

Yes! I love rainy days and love thunder storms even more. Get the best naps during a storm and will spend a rainy day reading.
