N England, S Scotland and N Ireland will be the hottest today, unusually. Certainly feels rather hot in the direct sun, especially since there is little wind.

We want be hot today because of a sea breeze. The heat will be back on thursday. 28c for me.

23C here today, much cooler than recently. We were forecast 27C but the breeze has seen that off. Still beautiful though.
