I like the 5 rainy days in summer. Plus there might be some snowfalls during winter but really drastic and freezing. Sounds good to me. I am not sure about the sunshine data but its in Greece so I guess sunshine hours would easily surpass the 2800hrs.
B+ for me!

No Ioannina has the lowest sunshine in Greece it is around 2000-2100 hours. Snow falls at about 5-6 times per year on average in the city. It has also 50 days with frost.
Another Greek here?
Hello Akis I am from Thessaloniki.
Although I am an engineer, my hobby is climatology.
The classification of the climate in Northern Greece is problematic. Summers are somewhat wet to be classified in the classic Mediterreanean climate (Csa), overall rainfall is rather little and winters rather cold to be classified as Humid Subtropical (Cfa), summers too hot to be oceanic (Cfb) and overall medium temperature too high to be continental (D).
They are mixed cases but closer to Mediterranean of course.

Helloooooooooo! Yes I am from Serres near you and I study at Ioannina! The climate of Ioannina combines the mediterranean climate and the wet and cold climate of Central Europe as it is reffered in the site of the University of the city. In my opinion it is true.
I found updated data for some cities in Greece for the period 1981-2010.
Note that the station of our Meteorological Service for the city in the airport always shows lesser precipitation and humidity from others maybe due to bad conservation. Temperatures are ok.

They are colder than the old normals, are you sure they are correct?

Yes they are correct because we experienced colder winters in that period. Only summer highs are a bit hotter in this period. One other example is the city of Orestiada that has colder winters than in the past period. The other cities are almost the same or a little bit colder. Only Thessaloniki is a bit hotter. I will make boards of the other cities to see the difference.
It gets a C+.
Summers are great but winters are a tad too cold for my liking. If it gets at least 70 percent of possible sunshine in most months, I could up the grade to a B-.
I give it a B-. Winters are too likely to get snow while summers are too dry. I do like that winter is the wettest season.
