Heathrow is one of the locations that receives too much sunshine if anything - if you note my above post about inland areas.
No, it doesn't. Heathrow's sun recorder under-records on clear or mostly sunny days (and I wasn't the person who originally brought that up).
I'd still like to see your 'research' on the matter. Looking at incorrect stats on wiki, or the very low resolution Met Office maps (which have already been pointed out to be inaccurate by dunno), doesn't count by the way.
I think it's quite clear now that you don't know what you are talking about, when it comes to sunshine in London area.
I didn't agree that. I explaned that sunshine hours drop once you go north of the Chilterns, but that's not London anyway.
North of the Chilterns ? those towns are south of - and i could include hundreds more - Winchester,Salisbury,Swindon ..i haven't checked the figures as i know i'm correct on this one .
You are saying that London is warmer in summer in the day
You are saying that London is warmer at night
You are saying that London is warmer than all the surrounding towns in winter
You are now saying London is sunnier
Climate doesn't work like that .

Not all, but you'd given sun stats for some places that don't even have weather stations...
yes ,but they all nicely correspond to that nice round figure of 1550 - the sort of nice round figure you would expect for those inland areas .
The Hampstead and the other north London location looked very accurate ,Kew would have to be 20 miles further south normally - and Heathrow is a real wild berry - not sure how 1600 is achieved there of all places - it would be slightly more convincing if it was somewhere like Bexleyheath lol

No, that's just a figure that you've made up - completely ignoring actual sun recorders in the area like Heathrow, Kew, Charlwood etc.. Even Benson is a lot sunnier than that.
