GEFS is worthless. I wouldn't pay it any mind. When the Euro shows it then I would be concerned if I lived there. The GFS needs to be done away with.

Blue tends to be a very popular colour on these maps when it comes to the UK, but never in winter. Bloody crappy summer!

Well Accuweather is saying no summer warmth so maybe the exact opposite will happen

F*CK this summer. The worst June ever (and that's not even an exaggeration, it will be the worst in terms of sunshine, and also has been below average) and July looks like being equally as bad.

I'm off to southern Europe in late August though, and then south east Asia in September when I return, so I'll get my heat fix this year.. 33C/25C weather come at me

Every summer since 2007 has seen sunshine at least 100 hrs below normal, apart from 2013 (+3 hrs) and 2014 (+30 hrs).

Surely we are due a warm and sunny decade to offset this crap.

You'd like to think so, but when has that ever happened? Summer is generally poor IMO, but the last few years, bar the odd July, have been diabolical. Also, whenever we've had a good July, the following August has been horrific.

One of my best mates is working at Gatwick, and he absolutely hates summer in England. He's from Budapest, but has lived in Palma since he was 22. He's spent the last three years at Gatwick, and his Facebook this year has been absolute gold! He gets paid alot of money, but his warm weather bones are really struggling!
