Ireland juts into the Atlantic Ocean west of the rest of Europe so it can be effected by the warm, Tropical Maritime air in the Azores/nearby with ease.

Eastern Europe is 1500+ miles inland.. So pretty far from the Oceanic effect.

since there's boring ass weather in all of sweden now, it's funnier to look at finland.

Weather in Naarva, Ilomantsi - Finnish Meteorological Institute

already 53cm in pötsönvaara. must've been an unusually snowy start to the season there?
