However, at 16:00 today Kautokeino (307 m) has taken over the lead: -42.4C (-44.3F).
The coast of Finnmark province is moderated by the Barents Sea and records only -3C to -6C, like -3.5C in Honningsvåg near North Cape.

Here right now: -13.3C at Trondheim Airport Værnes and -11.8C at Trondheim-Voll. Might be our coldest night in 2017.
