From NWS Melbourne

WEEKEND...MODELS CONTINUE TO SHOW THE FIRST SUBSTANTIAL COOL
FRONT OF THE SEASON WILL PUSH THROUGH ON SATURDAY AND BRING A
NOTICEABLE AIR MASS CHANGE. A BAND OF SHOWERS AND STORMS SHOULD
ACCOMPANY THE FRONT ESPECIALLY FROM ORLANDO SOUTHWARD SAT AFTN.
THE FAST MOVING STORMS SHOULD PRODUCE ONLY BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS
BUT COULD CONTAIN STRONG DOWNBURST WINDS. N/NW WINDS BEHIND THE
FRONT WILL BRING LOWER HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURES DIPPING INTO THE
UPPER 50S SUNDAY MORNING NORTH OF ORLANDO. THE ECMWF HAS TRENDED
COOLER BRINGING UPPER 50S INTO BREVARD AND OSCEOLA COUNTIES SUNDAY
MORNING. SUNDAY LOOKS QUITE REFRESHING WITH HIGH TEMPS IN THE
UPPER 70S/LOWER 80S WITH NORTH WINDS 10 MPH...A LITTLE STRONGER
ALONG THE COAST.

Watch the wind direction before the front then after. I love that shift

The squall line looks pretty intense up there.

It should get to where I'm at around 1 AM.

Dallas - Fort Worth got hit hard earlier this afternoon. There was a report of a brick wall collapsing at the Stockyards.

Yup, right axis of trough pushing east. .

Current Wind Chills & H5. Feels like 30s down in the Texas Panhandle. Teens in Montana!

Actual Temps not extreme out there, 5-15 below norm west of Mississippi. West and East coast sporting a ridge.

I don't like this look. lol But as we know, it always pushes Eastbound...

Autumn has really struck with full force. Crisp, humid air and the sun starts to get really really weak, especially with this high humidity. A couple of days ago you could feel just a slight warmth on your face and nothing more. "Hottest temp" in my "metro area" yesterday was 14.6C/58F. Now 55F with a 54F dew point at 2:30pm.
Past days: Synop report summary
