It isn't a lot colder.. I live outside of London near to Heathrow where the average is 8C/2C. The difference is practically nothing compared to NI. In Norwich where I live for university it is probably colder than you in NI.

Yes it is. Our record low is 8c colder and it snows alot more. Being in nw is really good as we get proper arctic cold from Greenland.

Yes but we are in a big city, out in the countryside I am sure it is similar to you.. we get the cold easterly winds from Russia that don't affect Ireland. And snow is not that much more in NI

Hmm yeah more than here, but not loads more. Compared to central London it is a lot more yes.
