I'm aware of that. I just don't worry about it. Most days I have a 1000+ calorie deficit so for 2 days out of the week that I'm 500 over isn't the end of the world. I'm still losing 1-2 pounds that week.
The past two weeks, it's been the opposite story for me. I set pretty lofty calorie goals that I just don't have the willpower to meet. But I have restricted, and I have been exercising, and it makes a difference. I usually underestimate how many calories I burn to make sure I'm creating deficits. I haven't weighed myself, but I'd definitely noticed a slight difference just in how I feel... clothes seem noticeably looser, even in two weeks without really being as strict as I've like to be, lol.
Okay... I'm going to give into again... One Yuengling Porter. That'll make it three beers. Should be under 1650 calories.. Hot dog on the grill & fries is what's for dinner. A single hot dog isn't as many calories as people assume. Plus a few fries... shouldn't really be too much over 2000 calories. With my bike ride later in the evening, it'll be an easy deficit for the day.
Not sure if you're talking to Alex or me. I just ride my bike. We also own a treadmill, which my dad often uses. I should get in the habit of using that too, especially since it's in the basement by the TV. Easy to stay entertained.
When I was a teenager, I went through a bit of an anorexic phase, from fall 2005 to around January 2006. I had lost so much weight that my cold tolerance was very low. It made bike riding unpleasant in winter. Starting around early December 2005, I stopped riding my bike and pretty much just used that treadmill exclusively.

As long as you have an energy efficient boiler, it's not that expensive. Is there gas where you are, or is it oil only?
I don't know my parents pay the bills. We have gas, oil, coal and wood.
It's normal for people in rural areas to have oil and wood burners. It's cheaper I think.
