I'll drink Bud Light or Budweiser is there are no other options.. for example, at the racetrack (I go to Delaware Park sometimes). It's potable. But they also sell Yuengling even cheaper, so I'd rather have that. Never even heard of Kirin.. just Googled it. Japanese beer? I've never had a Japanese beer before. There's also one called Sapporo, I believe (a city I am mainly familiar with for being such an amazingly snowy climate, lol )
I've had Sapporo before - it's not a bad beer. Oh yeah, I'd LOVE to visit Sapporo someday, in January of course, so I can experience some of their legendary ocean effect snows. They actually have heated streets there, to keep them drivable...lol.
Are you good at betting on the horses? We used to hit the tracks occasionally in winter when we lived in south Florida - it's a rather fun activity on a 72-degree February afternoon. I totally suck at betting though...lol.
Meh, I'd rather not worry about calories when I'm drinking beer....I do a lot of exercise anyways so for 2 days that I don't care about calories isn't really going to kill me.
Those calories still count, though. I can't just force myself to forget that.
The only thing about calories I get concerned about is eating too little. I'm just eating enough to maintain weight. Given I strength train and run, I need to eat a lot, and sometimes I forget.

I'm not much of a gambler. I'll place a few really small dollar bets every now and then.
I would not be against visiting Sapporo. If I were given a free trip (in winter), I'd go.
Obviously we just have a big house for here so we need the stove to heat everything.
Having a big house would mean that central heating makes more sense.
As long as you have an energy efficient boiler, it's not that expensive. Is there gas where you are, or is it oil only?

I'm aware of that. I just don't worry about it. Most days I have a 1000+ calorie deficit so for 2 days out of the week that I'm 500 over isn't the end of the world. I'm still losing 1-2 pounds that week.
