Been drinking some beer this afternoon... what else is new? Lol. One can of Yuengling & I'm on my second (& last) Founders porter. Really an amazing porter Founders makes.

Yeah maybe you should take a trip to New York or something. Maybe see some daylight.

Except he's complaining less about his climate then the current weather. It's been warmer than average for autumn here. You're over-focused on latitude; he'd gain in cooler weather just as much by going west inland as going north.

Rather odd combination. Two very different beers.

Well that's true but he's still crazy far south so I can't see him getting below the 20's anytime soon.

I had intended to drink just that because that's what I had. But I certainly drank the Yuengling first. Lighter beers don't taste as good following darker ones. That's been my experience. No problem with drinking the lighter beer first, though.

you can't imagine him getting a high below 20°C/68°F in September?! He typically should get a few cooler days by now.

I'm at 42°N (much closer to his latitude than yours) and my average high for right now is 22°C, so sub-20°C highs aren't hard to get especially if it's cloudy. Median first frost is in a week and a half for me. Doubt it'll happen that soon this year.

Out of curiosity, when do you think highs below 20°C become common where snj90 lives?
