As I said October 27th - Welcome to the new stormy pattern

Just in time.. Only thing is.. Eastern U.S no end in sight with above normal temps "overall". Only quick shots of cold.

Western Skiers are loving this pattern. And I don't see why it will change anytime soon. I think it relaxes for a bit then returns end of month. So yeah, more snowstorms possible for same areas.

Atmosphere has memory. It likes to snow in same areas over and over sometimes.

Snow depth Wednesday morning from Hi-Res NAM

Picking up 3 feet in that spot near CO Springs and another spot as well. Not to ignore the areas in white and purple. Wow. Looks like downslope effect for the purple spots north of CO Springs.

Notice the higher totals misses Denver.

Zoomed Out

Great for our ski resorts! I don't like snow on my house or commute, but I do like to ski

Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore. At the NWS Office.

"Blizzard conditions at Goodland: 53mph gusts and below 1/4 mile visibility in blowing snow"

WOW!! Over a foot for NorthWest Kansas

Accuweather has 6-12" for corner of Kansas. 3-6" for Western Kansas. Maybe they haven't updated it.

Actually yeah, this is from yesterday.

Cool to see where Denver sits. This is showing snow depth. When things clear those mountains will look awesome in the backdrop!
