Heads up Northeast...my dog "just started" shedding. Without fail she has always been right.

Usually she does in April to get ready for Summer Heat & Humidity. I was wondering why she wasnt shedding yet. She hasnt needed a thinner coat lately. Coat getting thinner now. If she sheds in clumps that means heat waves and consistent heat coming. No clumps yet but a sign that the pattern will get hot soon.

July 8th. Seen it coming via dog and models.. lol

Dare I say July ends up above normal everywhere in East? Or too soon. It's only the 8th.

So we've been getting the hot(warm) Humid days without any real breaks but looking ahead, this hold true still next 2 weeks. The breaks or dryness is not for long stretches anymore.

Midway through Summer... Not sure what they're going by here (the extreme max on record? Average? ect)


But looks like New England has to wait till July is over to start decreasing risk of hottest Summer day. South of MA down to Georgia ends in 5 days.


I don't buy this, I thought August had hotter days here. Maybe not.

Mid to upper 70's for today away from the lakeshore
