Great day today, worked out TWICE, biked through trails, ran. All while fasting. Haven't had a drop of water or morsel of food since last night. The weather was gorgeous, very low humidity, Temps in the low 80s, nice breeze. Definitely good outdoor weather.

Sunday still looking to go to maybe 100. Seems the heat really kicks up down here starting this weekend. Until then I will enjoy today and tomorrow for there low humidity. I love humidity but it's nice to squeeze a couple pleasant days in here and there.

Making quite a habit of exaggerating your temperatures, aren't you? The forecast doesn't show anything even close to 100 F.

National Weather Service

National Weather Service
Weather.com, wral ( local weather station), AccuWeather, wunderground, nws is always conservative with showing Heat or cold till we get closer. Keep trying though tom. Keep trying lmao. You just linked me to Louisburg NC, a frost hollow lol. Then it says forecast for 2 miles north of Wendell? Hmm.

HOLY friggin crap. Saturdays max temps according the latest NAM model. NAM only goes to Sunday morning right now. Hot weekend looks like. Gees. Probably overdoing it a few degrees but still.

For Saturday yes, Sunday Temps will be cooler than that but maybe close to 100 in Raleigh and places further south break it.

Pretty crazy considering our temps here wont get past 60s and 70s for another 8 days. Not a hot pattern here meanwhile is for Mid Atlantic. Should be a fun gradient to check out.

Also Lows will be in the 70s across the Southeast and parts of Mid Atlantic.

From NWS Raleigh.
Pattern ripe for convection.
Pretty cool you get backdoor fronts too.
90-95 Saturday they say Sunday a bit warmer? Damn

National Weather Service Raleigh NC

...Warmest temperatures of the year expected over the weekend...

The upper air pattern during the short term period features
persistent and slightly strengthening Central Plains ridge with
departing New England trough with increasing heights across
the Carolinas. The result will be a northwest flow aloft across the
the Mid Atlantic and with the strongest flow confined to the Great
Lakes and Northeast. At the surface, cool surface high pressure over
the southern Appalachians will shift offshore with a warm
advection pattern developing across much of the eastern U.S..

This setup typically results in the development of convection across
the Midwest and Great Lakes region at the nose of the warm advection
with convection that is carried toward the Mid Atlantic in the
northwest flow aloft. While the pattern will likely lead to MCS`
that head toward our region, timing these features and pin pointing
their track is problematic. Latest guidance suggests one episode
will occur on Friday but recent runs of the operation GFS/EC along
with the EPS ensemble suggest a minimal impact for us with
the convection fading as it approaches our region late Friday night.
Have include slight chance pops for the northeast CWA late Friday
night. Upstream convection may be more widespread Saturday given
better synoptic forcing and have included a more widespread slight
chance pop for Saturday afternoon and evening. A backdoor cold front
will push through the area on Sunday bringing another threat of
scattered convection although confidence in the coverage is limited.

Most prominently, the pattern will feature a significant warm up.
Highs on Friday will range from the mid 80s across the northern
Coastal Plain to near 90 to the southwest across the Southern
Piedmont. Highs Saturday will range from 90 to 95 with highs Sunday
degree or two warmer, ranging in the lower to mid 90s. Dew points
will likely mix out into the mid to lower 60s across much of the
Piedmont during the afternoon behind the lee trough but linger in
the upper 60s to around 70 in the Coastal Plain. The result will be
apparent temperatures in the mid to upper 90s. Overnight lows Will
range in the mid to upper 60s Friday night and the lower 70s on
Saturday night.

Awesome weather today. Had quite a storm move through this afternoon and the temperature plummeted down to 53 F/12 C. Warmed back up once the sun came out but didn't rise above 63 F/17 C. Forecast low of 41 F/5 C tonight and tomorrow forecast high of 68 F/20 C. Doesn't get much better than this in June.
