I think that Adi would go missing at the back.. he'd be too interested in spotting hot chicks from the crowd. Owen at left back? Left back on the bench yeah!
I am so embarrassed, it's our worst defeat since the 1950 world cup when we lost to an amateur USA side. England just cannot play tournament football
Owen would be too jet-lagged to put in a performance, and would probably get himself sent off.
I'd go 3-4-3 with the following:
-----Rozenn---Donar---Ariete
Dean York---alex985---irlinit---B87
---joe90---Chicagogeorge---nei
------------BBQKing-----------
That's true, Owen's on the bench. I totally forgot chicagogeorge, I think he would be an awesome defensive midfielder. And Donar is German, so he's probably quite tall, good pick for the classic striker.
Maybe LA-Mex in goal, anywhere he goes turns to 200F and that is sure to put off opposition strikers..
On the other hand, Hartfordd may be a good pick, after all he is French and would be playing on home soil, and maybe he could conjure up some thunderstorms subtropiques avec lots de warm handsome rain to distract opposition and stop play when things aren't going well?
Should a bigger population guarantee a better team?
England have players who have won champions league medals (the biggest club competition in the world), players who have won the Premier League (among the best 3 leagues in Europe and the world) and have a larger pool of players to choose from.
I don't know American sports so I cannot make a comparison, but imagine your best NFL team losing to a college team from a small city, that's probably a fair comparison..

LA-Mex would be probably a good #10. He would act to get free kicks outside the box. He just have to be good at acting.
Is anyone of us actually left-footed? I'm not, but it has to be considered in a potential lineup?
