Thanks to Santa Ana's, Long Beach was as warm as us yesterday, we both hit 93°, but Long Beach's normal high was only 79° while ours was 88°.

They'll be hotter than us today, we are forecast to hit 95° and Long Beach is forecast to hit 99°!!!

I feel like warm Great Lakes are just going to exacerbate the seasonal lag in the Northeast, with blazing autumns, mild Decembers, but then loads of lake effect snow from February-April

Pattern just does not want to break down. Though the Northeast is getting longer more sustained cool shots.

But beware. The flip can come all of the sudden. Take a look at Eurasia and Siberian cold and snow cover. This will have an impact on us at some point.

Sun still out here and 81F. I do see some heavy, low clouds just to the north though.
