Extremely hot in The Netherlands, almost the double of the normal average!
Maastricht hit 30ºC/86F the sunday, 32ºC/89,6F yesterday and the previsions for today and for the next 2 days are maximums of 32ºC/89,6F, 31ºC/87,8F and 29ºC/84,2F.
The minimum in the sunday was 17ºC/62,6F, yesterday 18ºC/64,4F, today 18ºC, and for the next 2 days are expected minimums of 17ºC/62,6F and 16ºC/62,8F.
This can apply to all the country, most of the big cities reached 30ºC/86F yesterday.
Rotterdam reached yesterday 33ºC/91,4F, while the predictions for today and the next 2 days are 32ºC/89,6F, 32ºC and 29ºC/84,2F and minimums of 19, 18, 18 and 17ºC.
August was also quite hotter as normal, about 3ºC/37,4F more than normal.
The first 2 weeks of September are being also hotter than normal here where I live, near the coast of Alicante (Spain), with 5 days surpassing 36ºC/96,8F, 3 days surpassing 37,2ºC/99ºF and 1 day reaching 41ºC/105,8F.
The minimums haven't been lower than 20ºC/68F from June, but it's expected that the sunday the minimum will reach 19ºC/66,2F and the monday will reach 18ºC/64,4F, I hope it will be true.
From the current 12 nights of September, 10 days had minimums above 23ºC/73,4F, 4 nights above 24ºC/75,2F and 1 night the minimum was 26,3ºC/79,4F, being only 0.5ºC less than the highest minimum recorded in September (26,8ºC).
0,0mm of rain from 10th of August, and only 28mm of rain in the entire summer. The normal average of September is 25ºC/77F, while for the first 12 days of the month the actual average is 28,3ºC/83F.
Three inches of snow predicted for Burgess Junction, WY tonight. Can't lie, I wouldn't mind seeing snow right now. My "hot weather" switch is off lol, I'm craving cool weather now.
You and me both. I was done with summer heat after my truck A/C and my central A/C in the house both died within a week of each other in July. **** that.
I just hope this ****ing Southeast ridge doesn't become a prevailing feature this fall/winter.

I bet it's humid too. Must feel disgusting when it gets that hot.
Interesting how Danbury often ends up colder than the rest of Connecticut when it comes to lows. Why is that? Frost hollow?
Lot's of microclimates in the state due to elevation changes and all the little hills and pockets in between. Danbury is at 450' which is slightly one reason. Another is that it's away from the coast more and UHI's and lots of trees around.
Danbury is a fun spot to follow. Always gets more snow. DXR is the symbol. They only have records since 1998.
My weather is typically between Danbury and Bridgeport but sometimes closer to one or the other like this morning...
Nice! No more 80s after today? At least for next 6 days. Nice dips to 50s! Jacket for you?
My forecast looks similar except you're getting the front first of course so I have 1 more 80s day then you
My forecast is still 80s with 90 possible wedensday/Thursday. Lows still in mid 60s, our average for this date is 83/63. Our average highest temp in October is 86 so warm Temps are still on tap for a while.

I don't know about no more 80's. Look at the anomalies from the Sep 20th onward. We may get a few 80s next week. Nights are cooling off that's for sure. That's your shoreline temps. What about inland? I assume cooler nights as well right?

Well the month of September averages 11 days, with the most being 21 in 2002 and least 2 in 1993. October averages 2, and since 1981 the most has been 7 for that month. As of today we will have 3 days above 90F and 7 days above 80F at Chicago/MDW.
