I dont think the Cubs were ever that good at hitting, I thought it was the pitching that was their specialty. Aside from Kris Bryant and Rizzo I can't name a single Cubs hitter

Javier Baez and Willson Contreras are both solid, young hitters. Addison Russell hit 24 HR and like 100 RBI this year (though he only hit like .245 but he's only 22) Ben Zobrist is good too. Jayson Heyward is god awful though.
Hmmmm not sure I can compare them to anyone in the NBA. Just know they haven't the WS in 108 years....and they were the best team in baseball this year.

True, I forgot Baez and Zobrist. Altho they're not the best hitters, Russell's stats look awful aside from the homeruns. Zobrist and Baez are not bad considering the positions they play. But Baez and Russell are just 23 and 22 respecitvely, so they have lots of time to grow, and Contreras too. They still have 5-6 years before they hit their peak
spoke too soon. Amazing 9th inning right now, cubs up 6-5 after being down 5-2 coming into the inning. :d
yasssss let's go cubs!
