It's weird, cos I love animals and I don't mind many insects or crawlies. I touch (and pet) snails, beetles, stinkbugs and the non-poisonous spider. But cockroaches are a no-go zone. They just look offensive and hideous to my eyes. They're like ugliness with legs. The American Cockroach is the worst. Yuck! I think that they fly?
Looks like SC is the northern limit of these. I think they prefer swampy areas, that's why Piedmont regions don't really have them I suppose. I don't remember seeing any when I lived in North GA. Maybe extreme southern NC like Wilmington would have them?
And I wanna move to place that has no cockroaches. I hate their sight. I can't stand the way they look. I lose appetite even thinking of them. Somebody should collect every single last one of them and throw them in Antarctica.
Give me a room filled with spiders over one cockroach any day.
*butterflies, or even worse, large moths (in terms of my phobia).
Lol, sorry that's just a really weird phobia to have. What happened to cause that?
