Starting to feel a bit down about going to Aussie on saturday. The change will be nice, but the thought of no more swimming, is just depressing. I wish I was going in late march/april.
Booking a flight in March. Flight from Gatwick is £10 but can't decide if it's worth it.
Journey would involve two hour train to London, change & take tube, then 30 minute train ride.
I can take the last flight out but i'm not sure how risky this journey is. It says online that the tube and train stations are connected.. Don't know what that means though?
Is it like Fulton Street in NYC where you have to take an elevator to transfer between platforms or does a transfer involve navigating long, walkways?
Going to Shepparton for about 5-6 weeks -working on a pear orchard. Will visit family in Melbourne, as well as a couple of quick tiki tours on days off -would like to see Lake's Entrance again.
Got my thermometer packed - wondering how many 40C+ days there will be.
Would rather go in March/April because the swimming here would be finished by then, and the swimming here is just so ****** good -still, the change will be good, and am looking forward to some hot days, even if I have to work in it.
No. I have to debate whether or not it is worth karting my luggage over all those stations just for a £30 saving.
If there was no underground transfer i'd be more keen.
Idk man how much luggage do you have? If it's a backpack and a suitcase on wheels then it's worth it, if it's anything more I'd just save the effort and pay up
