Lol, that's an interesting idea. I've never thought about doing that, yet again I've never had a phone interview. All of my interviews have either been video interviews or in person.

Now I'm one of the people who conduct interviews, so the shoe is on the other foot. I guess being confident is seen as desirable by most employers but at the same time, being nervous is expected - at least a little bit. It's a sign that you want the job.
That **** is so annoying. Especially when you think you did really well in an interview and you're hopeful and then just never hear back from them. Very disheartening.

Honestly on the phone, nervousness tends to come across as maybe being a little aloof since you can't read someone's facial expressions or body language. Maybe having like two or three beers before a phone interview isn't a bad idea lol

One thing is certain - a person like Owen won't get hired by anyone in a hurry.

I've had both phone and video interviews. Hate phone interviews. I mean, no one will hire you just from a phone interview so it's superfluous anyway.

I'd rather conduct an interview face to face. It's easier.

Yep, June-October is far better in Binghampton than here. However, I'd probably complain as well if I had lived there

Russia makes up for it in other ways like culture, architecture, history, etc. There is no history of any kind in Buffalo or Syracuse
