Which they can legally forbid you to if the seat belt light is on. That's the anxiety I have about flying, all the regulations and being treated like a toddler...

Yeah, that is annoying as hell. Although I've noticed the seat belt lights are really only on during take off and landings or if there's bad turbulence.

That's why I much prefer road trips. Much more adventurous and fun IMO. Only thing is you can't drink (unless you're a passenger ) which I enjoy being the driver so it's a something I don't mind sacrificing. And you can drink your ass off when you get to wherever you're going anyways lol.

So that's a good reason for not staying in contact with any of your school friends? Strange boy...

When I went to university one of my friends was German, and his friends from Germany visited him on a couple of occasions. You don't have to cut off contact with people just because you're temporarily relocating.

Fact remains that you're born in the UK and study in the UK: we had plenty of Ålanders at Uni in Örebro and they were treated like any Swedes...

You over-dramatize the differences. There are tons of successful Irish people in England.

How would you have enough expertise to proclaim to know how similar or different Ireland and England are, as a Swede?

Have you actually visited Ireland or England, short of streetview?

The UK has an enormous Irish immigrant community and diaspora, the Irish have always found a way to be successful wherever they go. Hell, I can claim some of my ancestors among them.

I went on a wine tasting tour in Mendoza and while the wine was exquisite, I got a hangover after drinking it. Maybe it's because it was so early in the morning? Drinking water after getting wasted is a good idea, usually when I would get back after parting at 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning I would drink water and browse the web for an hour and then fall asleep, and the next day I wouldn't get any hangover
