I think Owen is just so jealous of England, he is quite rightly pi**ed off that he is from the unwanted, weirdly-religious cousin of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland... Poor chap
In the EU, the UK and Sweden voted the same 89% of the time. The UK and Denmark voted the same 88% of the time. We have more in common with Scandinavia than people realise. Sweden and Denmark are both moderately Eurosceptic compared to the rest of the EU, and neither supports adopting the Euro.
Oh, and I support euthanasia in certain circumstances, such as people with terminal cancer or other degenerative illnesses. Why would I support the prolonging of unnecessary suffering?
No surprise to see Owen going completely off topic with his weird obsession with heritage
I feel sorry for that baby's parents but unfortunately I agree with the court - there is no chance of the treatment helping him and even so it would only prolong the suffering - the baby can't live without a life support machine anyway and is probably in constant pain - I think turning off the life support is the best case for all parties. That's where I think US opinions differ with ours.. I'm pro euthanasia and I think the majority of the UK now is too. He baby is not 'property of the parents' solely - it is a human being and has the same rights as everyone else. The health care experts know best and sadly it's best for their opinion to overide that of the parents who understandably want to try anything.

So Sweden is an important country to the UK in terms of economic sustainability? Really?
Germany, United States, France etc are Britain's key trading partners, not Sweden.
