This whole concept of alcohol of any kind being a "girly" drink is f**King retarded and lame. Just like the whole dumb f**k stigma of drinking home alone. Nothing wrong with that. Using that "logic", what would water and juice be then?
I love cider and wine too. Certainly won't think twice about tucking into a bourbon and coke either.
Yeah, the 'girly drink' concept is ****. I also like the odd corona, but I'm not much of a beer drinker.
Rum, scotch and bourbon with coke is a staple on the rare occasion when I go out. Cider and wine are things I enjoy more at home.
I have been perusing ancestry demographic statistics from the 2000 census. They must have been recently put in that Carbon County was 5.8% Ukrainian because I would have remembered that from the past. That's a lot for this region - my area nowhere near that, unfortunately. But I'll be back in Carbon County--in the Poconos--soon, hopefully, for some fall/winter hiking. Certainly an area & climate I prefer and would love to live in compared to here.
Considering the disproportionately Eastern European (minus Russian) composition of Pennsylvania ethnic whites, it could well be a small losing factor for Trump. It's not just Ukrainians, but also Croats, Slovaks, Czechs, Lithuanians, Poles... Trump may do slightly worse among white Pennsylvanians because of his putinophilia and probable Kremlin connections. The same may just be true for Ohio & Michigan.
On the subject of election...I don't see why a vote is "wasted" because third parties have a lower chance. Isn't the point of election to get an honest representation of what people want? As long as people think that way, we'll be stuck with these two parties forever.
I don't think most voters care enough about their ancestral country to make it a major factor on voting
Trump does particularly well among Italian Americans; I wonder if something cultural going on ( created from an American experience or inherited from Italy? )

I don't think so either. That's why I speculate that it may be a small factor only. It could be something in the back of people's minds, as well, that ultimately sways them to some extent.

I did some searching & found an interesting graph. Germans & Italians support Clinton to the same extent. But, despite that, it would seem more Germans actually like Trump than Italians.
Kinda makes sense. Italians deposed Mussolini, after all, while Hitler's stranglehold on Germany remained till his death. Italians are more skeptical of their leaders, whereas Germans venerate their leaders like der führer or Trump.
