Moosonee suppose to see above average temps next few days, even up to 3c. Their average high at this point of the year is like -15c. This would be like NYC getting around 20c weather for four or five days straight

I know you were talking about soccer but American football is real football.
I've been watching a bit of NFL (go the Packers) lately, and while the actual play is good to watch, the downtime between action is just way too long -probably a great spectator sport for knitters, quilters etc.

A good point, and I could brew my own beer during a game.

I follow the Makos and Crusaders in Rugby, and watch all AB games. Love watching club rugby and junior rugby on cold winter days.

I don't really follow cricket, but still watch a bit on the the box -I'm into ODI, more than test match or 20/20.

I often stop and watch a bit of club cricket if I see a game somewhere.

About damn time for Fairbanks to see some -40s. Hasn't happened at PAFA or PAFB in 2 years.

despite unusually low arctic sea, the Hudson Bay is frozen solid. The low ice spots are in places facing the open ocean: north of Scandinavia and in the Bering Sea
