We put in a small pool and screened pool cage this year, and it’s like a different world after the last two summers here. It was 83 around 8 pm with a feel-like of 90 last evening. I sat out on the lanai, no AC, but a ceiling fan overhead and it was pleasant.

After working in the yard or cutting the grass, I can take a shower and come out sweating if I don’t cool off first. A dip in the pool takes my core temp down now, even with 90 degree water.

Hot or cold are the two choices on the East coast. Neither is a great choice, with varying degrees of what is acceptable to people. Find a place you like, life’s too short to be miserable.

I don't even use my telescopes as it is like 84 to 87f at 10pm and dew points near 80f.

81 degrees F/21.2 degrees C. I like a warm room (but not too warm!). The maximum outside temp today was 85 degrees F (29.4 degrees C).

74F downstairs right now, and 72F upstairs because I like it colder when I’m about to go to sleep.

I left the a/c off until after 4pm then set it to 74f. It showed 79 degrees upstairs but felt cooler in my living room while I was reading. I will reset it to 76f. in an hour or so. If I wake up in the night because it is too humid I can adjust again.
Love having a second thermostat for the upstairs , but it makes the downstairs too cold sometimes. Virginia outside temp made it to 98 today. Bad air quality.

Got a reading of 31.8c last night. Was sleepable with the fan.

I have to admit... reading some of your posts not having A/C & sleeping with a fan only during hot humid nights, brings back a sense of nostalgia for me. I grew up without A/C... Sure I didn't sleep much during heat waves, Sure I was miserable, but I have to admit.. I'd like to relive those youth moments and bring me back to the past.. Currently 74° in main rooms and getting it down to 70° for Bedrooms now.

Here's my indoor temp since the heat wave started. Looks like the Avg is about 73? Goes above 75F in the afternoons then I kick the A/C on in evening. By morning its in the Upper 60s/around 70. :-)
This console sits on Dining Room Table.

Just turned my A/C on. Way too uncomfortable inside.

ouch. don't think I've ever slept that hot, maybe once. Anything above 82°F is hard to sleep in. Blowing fans work, but takes longer.
