Nowhere to go? There are such things as convenient vacations...
Anyways, the 10-day forecast for here (KNYC/upper Manhattan) is just stunning given the time of year.
Every day is low-to-mid 70s, with lows in the mid 50s to low 60s.
Much, MUCH better than previous Septembers. I remember 2014 and 2015, those months started out disastrously. Let's hope summer doesn't make an unwelcomed comeback.
Left Pittsburgh this evening at 49° and got to Philly and it's 64° lol. Much warmer out east than home. High was 63° at home, chilly fall weekend ahead - 60s/40s home, and 70s/58-61 here for the weekend. Headed to NYC tomorrow in the am, should be a good day
Surely the third floor of a sturdy inland hotel should be fine.
Latest NAM misses east.
Just stay away from the windows. I remember downtown Houston after Ike -- The pictures showed all the windows blown out and glass on the sidewalk. Might want to stock up on non-perishables and water.
Here in Chicagoland mostly sunny dry conditions with cool temps finally beginning to moderate.
At least west would be better than right over our heads.
