Currently 63 with a 50 dew and mostly sunny. Beautiful early fall day.

After a low of 52 this morning, the high so far has been 66. A brief midday shower brought 0.02" of rain.

High temperature made it to the upper 70's today in Indianapolis. Though the forthcoming statement does not have to do directly with weather, I'll go ahead and say it anyway: based on the smoky mountain website, much of the lower 48 United States could have an earlier fall color show than what many people are used to. Hurricane Irma conjures up images of an unpredictable, strong willed elderly lady(the name Irma that is, not that I am trying to personify something that isn't alive).

Irma is NOT going east. NAM is an outlier. If anything track has shifted slightly west

Miami might luck out and not get too much damage. Keys will get hammered, hope most everyone evacuates there.
