This looks like the most average January week ever here in Indianapolis. Cloudy skies look to stick around all week and that snow in the forecast is only about a 10% chance of flurries until Saturday. Temps will be mainly in the 30s until Friday when we'll get up to 40. Average high is 36 for this time of year.

Lows are still above average, the entire winter has seen lows consistently way above average.

sneak peek at the models for late spring through mid summer?

Haven't seen the sun for 5 days. Next seven days will average 7-15F+ above normal with minimum temps being well above normal. I HATE this type of weather

Maybe something will salvage this winter after the first few days of February?

Boring here. Waiting for models to agree on something for this weekends storm. I see a wave of snow for OK, MO, KY & WV tomorrow & Thursday. Should be light stuff.

0.53" of rain last night. My cat woke me up in the middle of the night and it was pouring, was so nice to listen to the intense rainstorm at that time getting back to sleep (very relaxing). We are now just below average for the month. Last chance for rain this month is Thursday. We need 0.4" to be even for the month.

Models still seem be uncertain on what the storm will do. Yesterday morning, weak and out to sea; now, pulled north again. Hoping to go up to the White Mountains the coming weekend; hope the storm doesn't get in the way.
