With 4 days left of January Chicago is officially running +5.9F above average. Data for IKK is up to the 25th and it shows +6.5F above normal. Meteorological winter has been a pure blowtorch

the models are definitely converging on colder air in the 6-10 and especially 11-15 day period. So February might be the month that salvages this poor excuse for a winter

73/45 in Austin, this Arizona winter style weather continues, cold mornings and warm afternoons.

Rain coming in tomorrow. Let's hope it pours!

When I read the forecast and I see snow forecast for Flagstaff and higher elevations, it reminds me that it's still winter

Very dull gray and depressing with temps cool but generally not cold enough for snow. Worst type of weather
