Rain is moving out this morning. We got about a third of an inch or so in the Indy area and it seemed pretty scattered off and on overnight. Temps today fall from the low-50s right now to the mid-40s by lunchtime. Could actually see some sunshine later this afternoon, though. Slight chances of rain tomorrow and Friday but pretty likely Thursday. Temps are back in the 50s tomorrow and Friday with 60s on Thursday. Then chances of rain through the weekend but temps will only be in the 40s.

Foggy and 61, high of 80 with the sun burning the fog later today. Nice day.

Out West LA is about to see rain 7 of the next 8 days. Maybe this rain will save the rainy season. In the meantime SF will only rain 1 of 8 days. Will LA see more rain than SF this rainy season? It looks to be the case.

Why does it seem that the Euro always says the west (especially Southwest) is going to be cold and the east is going to be warm? It never fails

It’s that damn stubborn Atlantic ridge. Something the west coast hardly see’s due to the ocean differences. It’s why we’re so humid most of the year on the East coast.

I'm saying it's gotten to the point where they might as well revise all averages down by 5°F west of the Rockies and up by 5°F east of the Rockies. At least it seems that way to me. You can't be above average all the time or conversely below average all the time....
