TWC has revised it's forecast for March so it now resembles Accuweather. Cold here and near normal in the Northeast

I see, well. It’s funny because the models are retreating back to the warmth again. See above your post. The models are all over the place it seems. I looked at the 6Z GFS this morning and it wants to push in some very warm air, near 60 and 70’s in NY by first week of March. Kind of far out to really say if that will happen, though here in upstate spring looks to be arriving this week. Probably mid 40’s 50’s, closer near 60 in Albany next week. Sunny too. But then a cool down late next week near 30’s after a big rain storm which basically looks like no snow, and probably a warm up after.

I think the models are reverting back to warmth only for the start of March. The pattern beyond that might be a cold one. We'll see though.

Got down to 28F here this morning with a good bit of frost.

TWC's 15 day forecast isn't showing anything that warm here. Next week looks mostly dry with plenty of sun for a change. Chilly mid week with a couple of freezes. Dampness may return the following week. Normal highs are now up to the mid 60's and upper 60's by the beginning of March.

Trees are starting to bloom and showing signs of budding leaves soon here in Upstate SC. Here’s leafing out index map, updates daily, most of the South ahead of average (reds):

Some trees forming leaves here. Just took this pic. I wonder what kind of affect this morning's freeze had. Stayed at freezing and below maybe 7-8 hours getting down to 28F.

We've had some buds and pink flowers (I think) that came out early Feb. They've pretty much been suspended in time for the last 3 weeks. My parents' neighborhood has some trees with white flowers that have been out for 2-3 weeks. They look to be wilting away with no leaf out started yet. Supposed to get downright cold next weekend with lows in the mid to upper 20s twice. High of just 40-41 on Thursday. Bad news.

There were trees with pink and white blooms here in mid January. Temps down to 26F on Feb 7 caused many blooms to wilt away and drop.
