November is not winter, it's a Fall month.

Used to see 40's and 30's in Nov. Just check the last 9 years and see how hot Nov has been for the Tampa area.

Well, I've been out in the woods with more than a foot of snow on the ground in the Northwoods, so I have different experiences with November weather than most people.

That doesn't change what November actually is and it in now way is a measure to gauge how cold winter will be.

There's no way to gauge how cold a winter will be, there's only a way to gauge how cold a winter was.

No, obviously I knew that.

Also the reality is that the weather in Florida has changed since I've been here. I've only been here 14 years and the change in November/December in the last 5 years especially has been really apparent.

If it carries on this way, the days of no AC in January/February could seriously be under threat and the tropical weather season could end up being longer.

Blame the hotter GoMex and West Atlantic waters for that. Florida is surrounded by them.
