I had 4.46" of rain since yesterday from Beta's remnants. Most came this afternoon. Flash flood warnings were issued across the area. I saw one measurement of 7.71"!
Can you share some with me? I like dry Falls & Springs but bad timing cause so many did their overseeding.

Windward Hawaii has been drier than normal over the past couple months, so the first big rain event of Fall was no doubt welcomed. "Feast or famine" isn't unusual in these locations.

more unsettled / cloudy weather today, but quite warm. I had to walk about 3 km this morning and I was almost sweating despite wearing shorts because the dp was still pretty high, around 18c, whereas the temp was 24c. Right now it's 27c but it's overcast with some wind.
We're entering this bizarre season where it's not hot anymore but it's always humid.
We should have our first sub-10c lows next week and the highs appear to be seasonal (around 21c), i'm looking forward to the drier / sunnier / cooler weather.
It's been very warm for late September these past days. Warm weather is always welcome here. It doesn't feel summery at all though, the sun angle is so low already here at 58N.
Meteorological fall is less than one month away, so I figured I’d start a discussion thread since one hasn’t been done yet. Please feel free to discuss your early thoughts on what might happen in your neck of the woods.
Saturday will bring icky humid weather with a low close to 70F. Please, not again . I was done with shaving armpit for the season, but now I have to do it once more to stop sweat.
