It wave very warm here too in early October 2007.. We had a week of mid to upper 80s which is like +15 degrees above normal

Forecast off of the latest GFS run. If those highs come true the month would end up with an average high of about 76F which would be just about normal

OCT 2008 was the last OCT we had some colder weather. Ever since it has been hotter and hotter every year.

I have a ringing 77f dew point now and could not do anything in the yard past 10 mins it was so bad.

Massive difference in New Hampshire this morning due to Manchester's UHI. Manchester had a low of 42 degrees and Concord had a low of 28 degrees. Not much distance between the two locations.

Yes, we had flurries and sub freezing temperatures on May 13th. Not your typical spring!

Yup, I know, I live in Ontario lol. London is just up the road from me. I always watch the Detroit stations and sometimes forget which system we are supposed to use

This isn't the typical cold we see in September.

10,000' temps. Below freezing over our heads. Cold Airmass in place!

5000' temps.

Clear Skies and its in the 50s and 60s at the surface. Well below normal for this time of year

Balloon launch over Long Island this morning showed it was 0.2°C (32°F) at 850mb. Normal is 51°. Top 12 coldest temp at this level for month of September.
Only 1 other time was colder before Sept 20th (1959)
So this is impressive airmass for us this time of year!

Balloon launch over Albany showed it was -2.1C this morning. Normal is +9C(48F)

Temps have been in the 90's every day of September up until this past Thursday. After passage of front it's been in the 80's and less humidity. Feels kind of fall-like.

Next week we could be getting quite a bit of rainfall from T.S. Beta and temps may stay in the 70's for a while. Will feel pretty different from the past few weeks.

4pm Temp: low 60s

Dew point: high 20s

Not too bad given the time of year and disgustingly warm coastal waters.

Cloudy with consistent NE winds. Made it 71. Otherwise been in the upper 60s all day. Down to around 50 tonight. After sleeping with the windows open and the house fan on, we may have to just close the windows entirely.

Just got out on the water. Was actually busier than I expected. Even saw some tubers which I think it's way too chilly for that. 70 and cloudy with wind. Water temp is down to 75 which is pretty chilly for us. Usually get to 90 during warm spells in summer.

Long term forecast after Tuesday/Wednesday looks perfect. Nothing but upper 70s.
