High today was 76F and temp has remained stable. Forecast low is 67F.
Houston reached 87°F and 85°F, HOU and IAH respectively. That's a new record for December.

Mid 80's all the way to new year. No chance of any rain this month to amount to anything.

For a real extreme cold/snowy winter pattern for the Mid Latitudes and possible Southern involved you need a Polar Vortex Split and for one piece to move south.

This could get interesting at the end of the month into January

Winter in the north continues. Nice snowstorm for Minneapolis today and tomorrow!

Nebraska and Iowa getting in on it!

Here's the Storm track... WORST storm track for East. It means a warm surge of air pushing north. You can see why Minneapolis is getting hit and why Chicago is not

Bush Intercontinental didn't drop below 76 F this morning. LMAO! WTF?!

Keep in mind, this is an inland airport north of Houston we're talking about here!

Loop past 4hrs. 992mb Low over Kansas. Purple snow reports = heavy snow. I see 8-12" fell in Southern SD. Minnesota next. 1-2"/hr rates

SouthWest flow into Chicago on the wrong side of the storm
